 You see, to get started, what do you need is a bare minimum budget of $50. Because you are going to be using that money to buy items that you are going to be selling on eBay. And you need a very basic computer and internet connection. That’s all you need folks. You don’t need to buy any expensive software. You don’t need to download anything. You do not need to have your own website or you do not even need to talk items or keep an inventory of items at your home. So you need a budget of $50.

If you have more money, well you can take your business to the next level. But $50 is just going to work fine in the beginning. So $50 and a computer and a connection that’s all you need. You have that? That’s great news.

You will also going to learn some sale and pricing tactics to rank yourself- up in the search engine.

This course will be a gem to those, who were going to start eBay Dropshipping business and a companion guide for the Pro sellers, to have them idea about how to choose the product, or what kind of products generally sold on eBay.

What you’ll learn in eBay Dropshipping Business Masterclass 2021?

Well let me help you understand what you are going to be learning at this course. You see in this course I am going to give you a list of items that I personally sell on eBay and I’m going to tell you how to get those items from other digital platforms. Of course, you don’t expect to buy stuff from eBay and sell them back on eBay right. You have to buy those items from somewhere else. But you are not going to be buying those items from your local markets.

You are going to be buying those items from other digital marketplaces. And I’m going to point you to those places. So, you have to go to those places, create accounts there, use your $50 to get those items and then you can sell them back on eBay for huge profits. That’s the first part.

The second part is- I would give you a list of places for me where you can actually outsource the products. So you need the list of places from where you need to buy these items from and I’m going to give you the entire list that I personally use.

And then I am also going to discuss on how to negotiate with wholesalers of different kinds of products on how to get that product delivered to your door steps for super cheap; because you do have to worry about shipping costs as well. If you are taking some item from some other place and then you are getting it delivered to your doorstep before you start selling it on eBay. You do have to worry about shipping costs because that cost is going to add up in your eBay prices.

So I’m going to discuss all those complicated stuff and I’m going to help you set up an eBay business with just a minimum budget of $50.

Now the next part is what kind of items that you are going to be selling.

You see we are going to target two different categories here.

When we were on eBay.com, as you can see on this page. You’ll see something called Shop by category. So if you click there- You would see collectibles & art, fashion, sporting goods, toys and hobbies, Home and Garden, Electronics, and Entertainment. There’s everything, people are selling everything on eBay.

They are even selling homes on eBay. But we are not going to be selling homes obviously. So what we’re going to do is we are going to target 2 different categories here. The first one is going to be fashion here and the next one is going to be electronics. These are very high demand segments.

Let me click on fashion, so you can get an idea about the kind of items that you would be selling on eBay.

Now let’s see there are shirts, watches, bags, shoes and stuff like that.

Let me give you a very basic statement here. You see if you’re selling shirts and shoes and jeans and trousers and stuff like that these things come in a variety of sizes. The problem is people always don’t know the exact size they want, so they order impulsively and when the items arrive they decide that well this is not my size and they tried to return the goods and get a refund. That makes things complicated for the sellers on eBay.

So we are going to take care of items that come in sizes and those include shoes and probably socks. And you know shirts and caps and stuff like that. We are not going to get items that come in sizes, so clothing items are a definite No-No.

But there are other items that do not come in sizes. Luxury handbags for example, Luxury Watches, diamond boutique etc. So these are the kind of stuff that does not come in sizes and you can actually make a lot of money by selling these on eBay.

This is more or arbitrates system actually you are buying items for super cheap and you are making profits by selling a margin on eBay.

The other category that we’re going to target here is electronics. So let’s go to that and let’s check out what other kind of items that you could be selling on eBay.

So this is the electronics space. Now obviously if you start selling you know cell phones, TVs, cameras, and stuff like that; you could be making a lot of money. But the problem with them is these things come very expensive. They are not really cheap. If you decide to make money selling iPhones you have to have that kind of budget to buy a couple up iPhones first.

But well frankly I did not start with a lot of budget myself so I did not target the huge or the big items I chose very small items that are regularly used by people. And that’s exactly what you are going to do as well. You know what if these items get lost or damaged also; you don’t have to face a lot of losses.

So I’m going to cover a lot of different grounds here and I’m going to help you set up an entire eBay business that is really going to make you a lot of money. Are you excited? Well I’m really excited. So let’s not waste any more time and let’s get into it.

Is dropshipping on eBay worth it?

It’s really easy, anyone can do it. You do not need to have any previous marketing experience. And most important of all you did not have to stop promoting anything. This is really super simple. So that’s it folks. So, yeah, It is worth to give a try for dropshipping on eBay.

Stuff You Need To Know About EBay

Now, I am going to discuss what exactly is EBay and why it is a good idea to sell stuff on eBay.

So what is eBay?

Well eBay is one buying selling platform that gets more traffic than any top quality ecommerce Web site. No one looking here the quantity and quality of traffic is simply mind boggling on eBay. And you know what.

Most of the people own EBay are actually looking to buy something rather than just window shopping simply, because of the price benefit that eBay offers. Just about anything on EBay costs less compared to Walmart and Amazon. Well there are some exceptions but then exceptions only prove the rule.

Now if you are a seller on eBay you can actually spin some good money every day if you just use your common sense and understand the way eBay is selling works.

 If you can master the method of ranking your products will on a search results, half the battle is won.

Well, of course you won’t have to worry about how to do that. You don’t have to worry about how to rank your products in a search results because I’m going to show you how to do that in upcoming module. But the point here is if you are just able to rank your products high in search results you are going to make a lot of money.

It doesn’t really matter what you’re selling and for what price you are selling a particular product, as long as your products are ranking well in eBay search results for specific keywords you going to make sales and you are going to make a lot of money.

Now why exactly is it a good idea to sell stuff on eBay?

Well the number one reason to sell on eBay is traffic. I had to put traffic as the top reason to sell on eBay. Few marketplaces can’t compete with the traffic volume that eBay provides.

According to E-BIZ rank which is an agency that researches traffic of websites. EBay is the eighth most visited Website on the internet. Amazon is the only place that ranks higher- coming at number seven. But then selling on Amazon isn’t as easy as eBay, Amazon is actually very complicated. If you don’t have a lot of experience, they are not moved except you and you won’t survive there for long but that is not the case with eBay.

According to the E-BIZ rank reports, eBay gets over 210 Million unique visitors every month. Now that’s a lot of potential buyers. You don’t have to bring to eBay. They already know about it and they already use it to find what they want. All you have to do is offer quality items, good photographs, good prices and provides shoppers with good keywords and a unique shopping experience. They just have to be able to find your products and half of your job is done.

The second reason is low cost business set up. You see, eBay has listings sales throughout the year allowing you to list items with no insertion fee at all or discounted insertion fee.

Now what exactly is Insertion fee? Well Insertion fee refers to the fees that you would have to pay eBay for listing your products there. That is a very small amount of money and let you list your products there.

But sometimes they offer discounts as well so you won’t have to pay any insertion fees. EBay holds the sales for both auctions tile Listings and fixed price products in several categories.

Even if you do have to pay a bill listing fee which is again a very common phenomenon, it’s very normal compared to other online businesses where you would have to spend hundreds of dollars if not thousands, just to setup your business. And then of course, there’s the cost of traffic which could be very big. Selling on eBay is a very cost effective business proposition.

The third reason is you don’t need any kind of approval to sell stuff on eBay. Anyone can sell anything on eBay for any price he wishes to.

Now since in this tutorial I am going to show you the exact items that sell like hotcakes on eBay. You won’t have to lose sleep over product research.

The number four reason is well; it’s a pretty simple system. Unlike search engines and several selling platforms, eBay follows a very simple rule when it comes to ranking products. You just have to have good seller feedback and a bunch of sales to be able to push your products to page one of eBay search results and when you have your products on page one of eBay search results for specific keywords that customers are using to find specific products, you are going to make sales just like that.

It’s going to be very much effortless for you and you are going to make money just like that day in and day out. Now it might sound a bit intimidating to some, but I’m going to show you exactly how to rank your products in eBay search results, super fast without spending any money. So it’s going to be super easy for you to rank your products and eBay search results and you are going to be able to make money by selling on eBay.

The fifth reason is if for some reason you are out of money and you can’t afford to buy new products that you want to sell on eBay or maybe you just want to go on a long holiday and won’t have time to monitor your EBay account. You can actually pause the entire sales process on eBay and to keep your products listed that customers interested in them.

I’m going to show you a sneaky little trick here on how to do that. And yes you can afford to go on big holidays without worrying about your account and still keep your business float. You can’t just go on holidays or take a break and when you come back you won’t have to worry about listing your products and search results once again, as we are going to stay there only.

The sixth reason is probably the most important one. You can sell anything you wish on eBay of any kind of quality. This is very important. Amazon doesn’t let you do that. They take a lot of interest in the quality, brand and feature itself of a product that you want to sell to their platform.

But eBay is very lenient about that. Now that allows you to outsource your products from any vendor you wish and buy stuff for super cheap and sell for reasonable profits. No I’m not suggesting here that you sell cheap quality stuff but it would be totally wrong to say that only premium brands manufacture quality products, lesser known brands are sometimes good too and with them you have the price advantage.

In this course of “eBay Dropshipping Business Masterclass 2021”, I’m going to show you how to outsource your products for super cheap and sell for reasonable profits. There won’t be quality products but you won’t have to carry a premium price to outsource them. So your profit margins are obviously going to be higher.

On eBay you won’t have anyone reading on your shoulders so you can’t do business more freely. So, eBay is a goldmine that you cannot afford to neglect. Now in next section of eBay Dropshipping Masterclass, I’ll get into how eBay is selling works, how the commission structure works, how they take their cut and then pay you your cut, What kind of product listings are allowed there, the shipping part and everything else and you get a better understanding of how eBay sellers list their products and then meet sales and make money.

How eBay Selling Actually Works

In this lesson, I’m going to discuss how eBay selling works. You see eBay has thousands of products in different categories and obviously thousands of sellers are selling those products.

Even though, many of the sellers are making at least some money by selling their stuff. Not all of them are making profits at the end of the day. If you have the time and you want to find out the truth you can check out the different categories and products on eBay and I guarantee you, you will find hundreds of sellers on eBay that are not making any money at all. There are thousands of products on the platform that are simply sitting idle without drawing any interest from wires.

The truth is only a handful of sellers on eBay are making a killing by selling the products. The rest are just waiting for their big payday. I can tell you from experience if you leave things to chance eBay can be quite merciless. You have to take steps to improve your product rankings on eBay and aim for the top rated seller ranks, if you wants to make some real money on eBay.

Now let me discuss all the important steps that you need to take to be able to start earning within just a few days after setting up your eBay seller account.

Number one– before you even set up your account on eBay you have to decide what you want to sell on the platform.

Now some people would suggest to you that it’s a good idea to start off with stuff that you no longer have any use for example an old camera, that you are no longer using, it’s just lying around in a garage, or may be video games or etc. Now you could stop selling unused items and try to get some positive feedback.

Before you start doing the real business, I wouldn’t suggest doing that. The reason is very simple. You won’t be able to establish yourself as a seller in a specific niche or category. If you start doing something similar to a garage sale on eBay and trust me, I tell you this credibility alone is what matters on eBay. So it’s best to start off with the stuff that you plan to sell in the long run.

If you want to sell jewelry in the long run start off with that and not with items that you are no longer using in your house. As far as specific products are concerned, I’m obviously going to discuss that in another lesson, but as up now, you have to give up the idea of running a garage sale on eBay.

 Second important point is- after you have decided what you want to sell on eBay you have for purchase the items for the cheapest prices possible. Once you receive the goods at your doorstep you have to check every single item to make sure nothing is missing or broken.

Now here’s something very important that I would like to tell you. You see, eBay is a very price sensitive market unlike Amazon or walmart or whatever. If you want to compete with the big players you have to be able to play the price game. That however is only possible if the average selling price of your preferred item on eBay is several times higher than your buying price.

I usually follow a golden rule here. You make profits by buying cheap and then some more by selling for higher prices. The idea here is to buying for some lowest possible price. You may be amazed to know that most stuff on eBay sell for at least 20 times the buying price. Yes you read it right, 20 times the buying price. I’m definitely going to show you where I outsource my product from and my most profitable products. But as of now let this sink in your head that you have to be super flexible with your pricing if you want to be successful on eBay.

Third important point is, after you have received the goods that you want to sell go ahead and set up a seller account on eBay.

This is as easy as setting up an email account. They are just going to ask you about your products the kind of stuff that you want to sell on eBay, about the categories and stuff like that and you just have to follow the instructions on screen and it’s very easy after setting up your account. You have to list your products which again is very easy to do you will be able to see a link or tab in your account that says something like list your first product. While listing your product eBay allows you to post pictures of their products as.

Now, this is a very important thing that you need to keep in mind. As of now they have revamped their rule and at the time of writing this lesson, 12 pictures are allowed against every product listing on eBay and you can put a plus picture for absolutely free. They are not going to charge you for that. Earlier it wasn’t like this. Now you can put up to 12 pictures of each item that you are selling on eBay. You have to be able to use this feature to your advantage. Just grab your cell phone and click at least five to six images of your product and then put them in the listing.

The fifth important step here is to put a proper headline along with proper keywords. Just take a look at the listings of the top rated sellers in your segment. I mean the people who are selling the same stuff or closely similar stuff and then include the headline and the description keywords in your description.

These are going to help you rank your products better in eBay search results. Now I’m going to talk about these things in detail in my later lessons. For now, just let the concept sink into your head.

Now after you have set up your listing it is time to get to the sixth point i.e., some positive buyer feedback. This is probably the most important part. Feedback or should I say positive feedback is the only social proof of your credibility. Without positive feedback your products are just going to sit there and gather dust. When I personally started out I asked my friends and relatives to help me out on this. You see the feedback system on eBay is a seller feedback and not a specific product feedback. So if you can manage to get a bunch of good ratings by selling just a single product the feedback score of your entire seller account is going to go up.

You don’t need feedback against all the items that you’re selling. Just a single item can bring you all the good feedback you need. No back in my days when I tried it out I would typically list something at a very low price and then I would tell at least 10 of my friends to buy stuff from me and then give me some positive feedback.

In most of the cases I would just take back the product from them after delivery and refund them their money. Now there is a reason why I’m used to price my products super cheap, especially even getting the feedback, the idea was only to get positive feedback. Now on eBay if your product has a very high price you would have to pay very high commissions to eBay, once it’s sold. That it’s totally pointless if you’re just doing this for feedback.

Some of you might say that you don’t have friends who can buy your products and your positive feedback but for such people I would say you can simply go to fiverr.com and use their resources. You would find several sellers on fiverr.com that would give you positive feedback for just 5 bucks.

Please remember without further feedback you are not going to get anywhere on eBay. So unless you are selling a super popular item for a very low price it is next to impossible to get buyers to show interest in your product and give you feedback, if you are just starting out. The only way is to take the initiative yourself and get some quality feedback before you increase your product price.

Now after you have some positive feedback and your account shows some sales activity. Thanks to your friends and relatives because you need to remember that even though you are doing this for feedback whenever you are selling items to your friends and relatives the sales activity is going to be shown into your account and that is going to help you boost your own rankings.

So once you start showing some sales activity and have some positive feedback, it is time to increase your prices gradually depending on your ranking in eBay search results. I’m going to discuss these things in detail in upcoming lessons but I just wanted to give you a brief idea about how you’d be a selling system works.

I hope I’ve been able to put in everything that you need to know. So that’s it folks. Things to do before Procuring

In this lesson, I am going to do a quick recap of exactly what you have to do, before you start outsourcing your items that you want to sell on eBay.

Now the first thing that you have to do is you have to go sign up on eBay as a seller. Now even though the exact steps are going to be a bit different depending up on the countries, you are signing up from, the basics are going to be the same.

There are actually two ways of doing this. You could simply open up ebay with your country specific extension for example .com .in .uk or .eu or whatever and then find a product similar to the ones that you want to sell on eBay. For example if you want to sell jewelry, you could simply search jewelry on eBay and then pull up a couple of listings and then open any one listing that you wish. Once you have found a product that is pretty similar to what do you want to sell on eBay, click on the listing and locate the tab that says have what to Sell, Sell them. Now you would be able to see this tab just beneath the product limits on the product page. Click on that and then start filling out the form fields that eBay throws up. It’s going to take only a few minutes for you to fill up the entire application. You can start selling right away.

The other way of doing this is by going to google.com and then typing in sell on eBay. This is going to pull up the links to the country specific application page and you can go ahead and apply from there.

Now please remember that when you are filling out the form on eBay, eBay would want you to agree to their country specific payment terms. In some places they allow PayPal payments and in other places they allow specific currency payments, check payments or even online transfers. Whatever your method of payment is you would have to agree to the payment terms before you can sign up with them.

I know you must be thinking about the commission structures on eBay. Well you don’t have to worry about that because when you are just starting out, you probably won’t be able to afford an eBay store for a hefty monthly fee and get deep discounts on product listing prices or otherwise also known as insertion fees.

So it’s best to stop worrying about how much is going to charge you, towards insertion fees and focus on getting your products for super cheap and then listing them on eBay.

Now after you have set up your eBay account the next important thing that you need to take care of is your shipping partner. Even though eBay offers its own shipping program, you won’t be able to apply for the program unless; you have sold a healthy number of products on the platform and establish yourself as a trustworthy seller. And that is going to take at least a few months.

Matter of fact, eBay shipping program is not very cheap and even a lot of top rated sellers prefer to use their own shipping partners over that eBay shipping program. But as you are just starting out, so you don’t really have a choice. So what do you have to do is you have to go look around in your neighborhood and find a courier company that’s not going to charge a bomb for insight country shipping. You have to make sure that they offer insurance against products that get lost or damaged in transit and also have to make sure that they have service centers throughout the country.

Even those startup courier companies would have competitive pricing, it wouldn’t be very wise of you to choose a startup, just because of low prices. Other market courier company could ruin your eBay business, so be very careful. Choose carefully and always insists on a monthly retainer price because you are going to get that business every few days.

After your account is set up and you also have finalized your shipping partner. The next step is to talk to a few of your friends and relatives and convince them to help you out by buying your products from eBay.

Tell them you are going to take back the product from them and also refund them completely after the transaction is complete. Tell them to leave positive reviews on eBay about you. You could just tell them that since you are just starting out you want to test the logistics and your shipping partner and that’s why you want them to buy products from you.

If you can get at least 10 or 12 people to buy your products and give you positive ratings on eBay, that would be really great. Now that is all you have to do before you start ordering products from manufacturers. So, get these things right.  And in the next lesson, I’m going to get into specific products and rear you should outsource them from.

Buying Outsourcing Items

Now in this lesson, I’m going to discuss about the specific products that you have to buy from manufacturers and then go ahead and sell them on eBay. I’m just going to be specifically show you one particular niche, one particular section of products that you can sell on eBay and make a lot of money. So let’s get started, shall we?

So the first thing you have to do is, you have to go to Aliexpress. Now this is one website, that has a lot of different sellers maybe from the different ancient countries, and that’s mainly from China. And the products that you get on Aliexpress are super cheap priced and you can get just about anything you want here. You can get branded items and you can also get individual manufactured items that do not have any specific brands.

The beauty about Aliexpress is, it not only offers a wide variety of products, but it also pretty much has just about everything that sells on eBay.

Now if you remember in my earlier videos I mentioned something about selling jewelry online. You know jewelry is a very profitable item on eBay. So what I learned here is I’m going to go here and I’m going to find out how you can’t sell jewelry that you can actually buy from Aliexpress for super cheap prices. But before I do that I would like to show you a couple of things here.

  1. On the right side of your screen, you can see here- “ship to” with flag of the United States and USD and then select language. Depending on which country you are from, you can actually change the settings. You just have to click here and then you can select your country from a dropdown menu that contains all the countries that are out there.

So you can change the country settings here and at the same time you would be able to say change the currencies headings. So you could set it to anything you could set it to Chinese yen, or you could even send it to Indian Rupees, UK pounds, or any other currency that you want.

You can even change your language here. But prefer English to use Aliexpress for eBay Dropshipping. So I don’t think you would want to change that. That’s the first thing that you have to do.

So once you have signed up your and once you have set the shipping and the country, you can then go ahead and purchase here.

So what I’m going to do here is I’m going to go to the search box and I’m going to type in pendant there. Now when you type that, it’s going to throw up a lot of different options, so I’m just going to leave that and just going to hit enter and let’s see what comes up.

Now you see it it’s just like eBay. There are hundreds of listings out here at this for instance is a very popular item “the VIN DIESEL pendant- the fast and furious pendant” which is a very hot item on eBay. So that’s just an example.

What I would like to really point your attention to this particular area here where it tells about Seller Rating and Price. Now please remember just like that you can’t sort listings based on price. So when I click on Sort by Price once, it’s basically going to produce results that would give you prices beginning with the lowest price first and then the prices are going to go up.

Now you see this one here is charging $0.03 per piece. And they even have a lot pricing. When they say a lot, that means they are going to put in a bulk number of items. For example it could be 50 items, It could be 100 items or it could be just 10 items. Now it doesn’t really matter if you want to bulk shipping or you want just a single piece.

The biggest advantage of Aliexpress is you wouldn’t have to buy in bulk, but if you want, you can buy this. So when I use this sort by pricing tab, these things come up. So what I now have to do is I have to find out whether these things are selling hot on eBay.

So the first one here is women and man necklace/pendant, this is basically a key pendant and I have seen this thing sell on eBay.

This is a heart shaped pendant. This particular item is very hot selling on eBay. I personally sell this. There were other pendants like “the Pirates of the Caribbean pendant” and this is a hot item as well. The other ones are like”Harry Potter necklace” etc. I have this item as well listed on eBay.

So you see if you take a look at the prices here they are damned cheap. I mean here you can easily get a necklace or a pendant for just 0.05 bucks a piece. That is absolutely insane.

Now I’m going to get into the shipping part later but let’s first find out whether or not these things are selling hot on eBay.

What I’m going to do is, I’m going to go to eBay and then search here pendant. So rather than putting pendant, I will try the different search results. But before I do that you can see that people were selling those pendants which were also available on Aliexpress. Let’s crawl down and see. There are a variety of pendants. Let’s go ahead and search for the “VIN DIESEL pendant- The fast and the Furious pendant”.

So I’m just going to type that in here “fast and furious pendant”. There you go. This costs $19 a piece. The sellers here are selling the same pendant from China for prices like- 0.08 bucks a piece, 0.95.1.99 and so on.

Now please also note that you’re in this case, it says from the United States and they are selling for $8.99. So that’s a lot of money.

So what I’m going to point your attention to you here is you should not look at listings that are from China. Because if you are in the United States, what we are going to do is we are going to take these products delivered to your doorstep and then you are going to list them from your area into eBay.

So whenever customers on eBay see your product they are basically going to see that this product is coming from the United States and that is going to help you increase the value of the product.

The profit person percent will be insane. And let me also point your attention to this fact that, 792 items sold over the last 50 days. So folks this is an absolute goldmine.

Now this is just one example that I’ve shown you, if you check out the other jewelry other pendants, rings, necklaces, and chains and stuff like that, you would see that the profit margin is super huge. You can sell it on eBay and if you can outsource them from Aliexpress, you can really make a lot of money.

Now the second point that I’m going to discuss here is let’s say for instance you are not from the United States.

So for example this guy here is from France. Now it doesn’t really matter if you are from the United States or if you are from France as long as, you are not from China. You can actually charge a premium fee here because people don’t trust sellers that are based out of their own country.

For example if I’m based out of Australia I would simply prefer to buy stuff from guys who are sitting in Australia and selling their stuff. We have a warehouse in Australia because the trust factor grows exponentially there. So it doesn’t matter if you are from the United States or from any other country as long as you are not from China, you can actually sell these products for premium prices.

And if you are from China, well the problem is solved there because you wouldn’t have to do all these things. You can just contact the sellers on Aliexpress and then get that done get them over to your doorstep for the cheaper prices. So that’s really not a problem here.

So as long as you from any other country apart from China you can make big money on eBay. You just have to go to Aliexpress and then you have to purchase these items from there and then you can sell it on eBay. So that’s it for now. I will discuss a bit about shipping policies in my next lesson. So stay tuned for that.

Buying the Super Cheap Items from Aliexpress

In my earlier lesson, I have already shown you one example from the jewelry. And I have also shown you how these items are selling on eBay and how to get these exact same items from Aliepress for super cheap prices.

Now in this lesson, I’m going to show you another example using another product from the same niche. So let’s get started and let me show you some other items that are selling well on eBay.

–So, I am again in the pendant page from eBay. I have already put in the search for Pendant- in the last lesson. So I’m going to scroll down here and I’m going to show you one example.

This one is the “heart shaped gold plated bib statement Chain Pendant Necklace jewelry new” from China. This is the first page listing here. I’m sure if you check out the other pages let me scroll down here and let me show you how many pages are there first.

You see there are more than 10 pages and each page has 50. This is the first piece listing that you are seeing here and the first beat has just this one item here “the heart the heart shaped pendant”. And this one is selling like hotcakes on eBay. This only pendant has around 360+ orders too. And the seller is selling for $0.99 and the seller is from China.

Now as I mentioned in my earlier lessons also if you are selling from China the trust factor typically tends to come down. If you see the shipping from the United States that trust exponentially goes up, same for other countries.

For example: if you are in India and if you are selling from India. If I see an item from an Indian seller listed on eBay.in which is eBay India, I would prefer to buy that item from the Indian seller over someone from China, because Chinese goods are typically known for their low quality. But at the end of the day it’s only a matter of perception. And even though you are outsourcing these products from Aliexpress, please remember that they are not really a very bad quality. I wouldn’t say they are super top quality, something that you can wear at a wedding or some special occasion. But these jewelry pieces are really good quality stuff. I personally sell them and I have ratings on eBay selling these exact same items.

But if you look at it from the perspective of a buyer, if he sees that the items coming from China, the trust factor goes down and that’s when you lose your business. So once again please remember that you have to take these items from Aliexpress, get them delivered to your doorstep and then you have to list them from your home country. So whenever buyers are seeing this, they are going to see that the seller is based out of maybe the United States, U.K, Australia or India or whatever other place you are from.

So for example now you have seen the above mentioned mention “heart shaped pendant” there. So what I’m going to do is, I’m going to go back to Aliexpress and let’s see if we can’t find this exact same item here.

This is the one here. Now this is the exact same item that is being sold on eBay. And here you are going to pay that price up to $0.16 for a piece of this jewelry. Now even though it says shipping cost is 0.32 per piece. I’m going to show you a sneaky method of getting these items for zero shipping fees.

So let’s go back to eBay and check out what this item is selling on eBay for. So, it is around $0.99 per piece and the seller ships the item from China. So if you can sell this item for maybe $4 or $5 a piece and then you can mention here that you are selling it from your own country, for example, United States, UK, Australia or whatever country you are from. Then it would be a really hot selling item and you can make a lot of money.

Let’s first click this listing on eBay and let’s see how many he has sold over the last 15 days. And the results are insane.

As you can see, one sold in last hour. So this is literally selling like hotcakes. And this guy has sold close to 1300 pieces. Now, that’s a lot of money.

If you click on the number of items sold, you would be able to see the records off sales over the last 15 days. And this is what I’m talking about.

So this is selling like crazy, I mean it’s selling like trending products. So let’s go back to the Aliexpress and let’s check out this listing.

Please remember when you check out some listing in Aliexpress, it is just like eBay and you click on the particular product, you are going to get some suggested results from Aliexpress, and there, you might get the exact product too and that too for the lower prices.

So it says $0.3 to the United States and that’s the shipping fee so that’s going to be close to 50 cents per  piece and we would actually want to get this item for even lower prices. But for that you will have to scroll down and wait for the page to load. So you can’t get to see what other sellers are offering. This is very important.

Now, as you can see the pendants from other sellers here.

So let’s open this and let’s see if it’s like offering free shipping or not

So it is not necessary that whenever you are seeing something on the first page that is the prize that you will have to pay. If you click on the product, and if you check out the offerings of other sellers you might be able to find a better deal.

So if you check out these listings, you will find that, these sellers are selling the exact same items for zero shipping costs or maybe the shipping cost is included in the pricing itself(showing free as a shipping fee), which is way better than the earlier one, because the item that we first checked out is selling for $0.16 per piece. So chances are the other guys are offering the exact same for me free shipping.

We checked out the other listing and see this guy, who’s here is selling this exact same item for $0.23 per piece. So that’s the difference. Now if you compare this with the earlier oneyou’ll find that, the earlier one is charging $0.16 for each piece and also charging extra for the shipping($0.32 shipping fee for each pendant). So the total price is going to be close to 50 cents = $0.48. But here, this guy is selling for $0.3 per piece. It has the exact same item. So I would obviously want to buy the product from this guy because my profit margins are going to be higher here. So that’s the trick here. You have to click on a product that you see on the first page and then you click on the product you’ll see in the suggested listings as shown above. You just scroll down and then scroll down and there will be suggestive listings from other sellers.

You see more products from one seller which obviously you don’t want to take out, then you can get the exact same item from other sellers as well, which will be very cheap in price. This is a very big market Aliexpress is huge. There are thousands of sellers here and you have a lot of options here. So you have to check out the other options that are available here and probably you chance upon something that offers you a better deal compared to the listing that you see on the first page. So you have to check out these listings. Remember it doesn’t matter what you’re seeing on the first page, until and unless you check out the listings, you would not be able to see what other sellers are offering.

And if you ask me why the sellers are offering this exact same item for a cheaper price I would tell you that they are doing so, they can get to the first page. They are actually fighting for rankings. The number one seller who got on the first page probably has more reviews and has more sales. That’s why he’s there. These guys are fighting for the number one position. And so they are offering for discount prices. What I don’t really care, I mean if this guy is on the first page on the last page, as long as my product comes to my doorstep and I get a cheap price I’m happy.

So that’s what you have to do. You have to check out the suggestions given by your Aliexpress that say it’s from other sellers and then you can check out the listings and you would be able to get a better deal. So let’s say for instance you buy this stuff for just $0.23 a piece and then you list your item on eBay and then sell it for probably $4 or $5 a piece which will also include your shipping fees from your place to your customers place.

Please also remember here that it is not a very good idea to add additional shipping fees. I mean there are people who do that for example they are selling stuff for maybe $1 and then they are adding another dollar or $2 for shipping. That is not really a good idea because when you sell stuff for cheap and then add an additional shipping fee people tend to look at your product as a low quality product and they feel that you are charging extra money for shipping. So you can’t make some extra bucks. So that’s really not a very good idea if you want to charge shipping fees which you have to please include that on your original product cost and then offer a total price.

So that’s it folks. Please remember to check out listings from other sellers on Aliexpress and then you have to find the best possible deal.

I’ll also give you a nice tip here: Every weekend, Aliexpress gifts super cool prices, I mean stuff, that have a very low prices so you just have to wait for weekends if you’re not able to find a good deal in the middle of the week and then you will be able to find better deals by the weekend. So you have to get those deals and then once the product gets delivered to you, you can list your item on eBay and you have to include your shipping prices into the product price. Do not add additional shipping fees that can actually hamper your rankings. So that’s it for now. Buying Items from Aliexpress (Part 2)

Now in my earlier lessons, I have already discussed with you the jewelry mates and I have also shown you how specific jewelry items are selling for very high prices on EBay. And how exactly you can get those same items from Aliexpress for super cheap and flip on eBay for high profits.

Now in this lesson, I’m going to discuss and other product niche, which is essentially the cell phone accessories niche. Now the big question here is why you should get in the cell phone accessories business. The answer is very simple. People are not going to stop using cell phones in their near future and cell phones are no longer considered only as tools for communication. They are much more than that. They are highly capable devices that can accomplish a lot of different things in very little time. So these things are very much a part of our lives. And if you have an expensive cell phone you would want to protect it and also want accessories that can enhance the capabilities of your cell phone. That is the reason why getting into the cell phone accessories business can be super beneficial for you. So that’s it folks.

Now the first thing that we have to do is, we have to go to eBay and here, what I’m going to do is, I’m just going to put in here iPhone6. I just have typed an iPhone and this has started giving me suggestions on the kind of items that are in demand on eBay for example iPhone 6 case. Even though it’s been just a couple of days that the iPhone 6 has been launched, it has been very popular and a lot of people are using these gadgets and they want to protect their iPhones and also need accessories that can enhance the capabilities of the iPhone. So I’m just going to go with iphone6 case and this example let’s click on this and let’s check out the results.

Now the first one here is $9.75. It’s coming from China. And this guy has sold more than 1000 pieces.

The second one again close to $9 and is coming from China.

Now scroll down you’ll be able to see this guy here. He’s also selling this exact same item for close to $9. And he is from the United States. Now once again please remember if you are not from China you have a definitive advantage over the Chinese people because Chinese items are somehow looked upon as low quality items. If you are selling the same item from the United States or from whatever country you are from people are going to see that in the listing and they would know that. Well this is not a Chinese item so it’s probably of higher quality and they wouldn’t mind paying a premium price too.

So if you are not from China you have this advantage here and if you are from China you also have an advantage because in that case you would be able to get these exact same items for super cheap because you wouldn’t have to bear the costs of shipping from Aliexpress to your doorstep.

So please don’t think that since the first page is throwing a lot of results from China, you are going to lose business, which is not true. Now if you scroll down further you see most of these items are from China but there are items that are from Canada. They were selling the same item for $25. And they have already sold 460+ items in the last 15 days. And that is a lot of money.

We found another seller from United States. He’s selling this item for $6, close to $6 and he has sold over 10000 items. I mean that is insane. So that’s the idea folks- if you can’t get into the cell phone accessories business you are going to be in profits.

IPhone6 is just an example here. It could have been anything else it could be in BlackBerry it could have some Samsung Galaxy or whatever. I mean there are a lot of different phones that are in high demand on the market. So you just have to type in the full name and then you can get into the business of their cases, covers, screen protectors, headphones and other accessories.

Now I’m going to go to Aliexpress and I’m going to just type in the exact same thing into the Aliexpress search box.

So I’ll just type in that here and just search here and find out what is available.

Now you see these are expensive items; you won’t be able to make a lot of profits if you’re buying this from $9. But as I have shown you in my earlier lessons I’m just going to click on the sort by price button here.

So I get the low priced items first. And there you go. You see this guy here is selling for 0.02 dollars per piece. And the 2nd item is selling $0.02 a piece. Now this is the fun part. Check out this to see this thing and this thing is selling on eBay for high profits. Let me click on this and let me show you.

You see this item. Take a look at the picture here. And let’s go to Aliexpress and check the item there too.

You see this is the exact cover that is being sold on eBay for $7.75 that is close to $8. And he has sold 157 items in the last 24 hours. Can you imagine the kind of profits you can make by getting into this business? It is simply insane.

Now once again, in Aliexpress, these guys are going to charge user $0.34 to the United States via seller’s shipping method. So it’s going to be close to 50 cents for you or it’s actually less than 50 cents but still if you want to waive off this shipping fee you have to scroll down once again and then you have to wait for the page to load. And find out the related products from other sellers and check if they were providing the Free Shipping or not.

Oh that’s great. See this item here has free shipping with a price range of $0.21 to $0.35 per piece. Now imagine the kind of profits you would be able to make by just buying this stuff for less than 50 cents per piece. And then you can flip the same stuff on eBay for close to $8. Now if you want to have some advantage if you want to have some edge over these sellers who have already sold a lot of these items what you can do is you can sell this exact item for around $5 and the head is going to bring in a lot of visitors who would be interested in your product. And if you combine this with a couple of good reviews from your friends well you just nailed it. And if you combine this with a couple of good reviews from your friends well you just nailed it.

Now I just showed you an example of cell phone accessories for iPhone6. It doesn’t only have to be iPhone6; you can try out other phone models. It could be Samsung; it could be phones from BlackBerry or even phones from Microsoft. It’s no longer Nokia, you know Nokia has been sold to Microsoft so you can check out the Microsoft phones and then you can get into the accessories of Microsoft.

So that’s it folks. Cell phone accessories can be very lucrative. They’re very profitable and they are in high demand. You just have to find out the right items and then you can get into the business of cell phone accessories, you can get those tough from Aliexpress for super cheap and flip back the same on eBay. Now please remember it doesn’t only have to be cell phone covers it could be other things as well.

Let me do a quick recap here, about the buying process for stuff that you want to sell on eBay. Now in my earlier lessons, I have already shown you how you can use Aliexpress, for purchasing items that you want to sell on eBay. I have shown you a couple of different examples and in the examples I have shown you how to use the Aliexpress search feature. In the search feature, you can use the sort by price tab and by clicking on the price tab you can list the items in ascending order of their prices and then make your choice based on price and feedback of different sellers.

Now there is also the option of finding sellers who are not visible on the main search page. For that you can click on individual listings and then scroll down on individual listing pages and find offers from other centers in the same category. By doing that you would be able to pull up products in the same category that are even cheaper priced and probably have better feedback. So that is about Aliexpress.

Now you can also search the products for listing into eBay from a popular website known as Taubau.com. Though it is a Chinese website but you can easily use the translate feature on your browser to translate that page into English and find items in your category. Then you can calculate the price of Chinese Yuan into U.S. dollars or your own currency by using Google.

Now please remember that when you are using Aliexpress or Taubau, for that matter, you would not have to spend a lot of time for finding items that you need. Since you won’t have to spend a lot of time in research work, there is a small chance that you would actually have to pay a higher price on Aliexpress for purchasing items that you want to sell on eBay. There are other options available and that is exactly going to be the subject of this lesson. I am going to show you another website from where you can buy the exact same items for probably even cheaper prices.

Please keep in mind that for using this website you won’t be able to do it as easily as Aliexpress. You would have to talk to the different vendors and manufacturers, negotiate prices with them, even have to negotiate shipping prices with them, order quantities and also shipping addresses etc. So you have to do some communication with different vendors on manufacturers and probably even ask for samples of products before you finalize your order with them.

But still if you have the time to do such kind of research to save money, you can go and use this particular resource. So let’s get into that. I will show you another website from where you can outsource your stuff.

The website is Alibaba.com. Please remember that, Aliexpress is a part of Alibaba, Aliexpress is supposed to be a retail website where as Alibaba is a wholesale website. If you want to purchase items from anywhere but you have to buy them in bulk. There is something called minimum order quantity (MOQ) and you have to purchase these items in bulk, which is not applicable on Aliexpress. People actually buy stuff from Alibaba from the manufacturers directly and then they retail those items on Aliexpress.

But if you want to save even more money you can come to Alibaba.com, and you can get your items from here. But this website actually works a bit differently compared to Aliexpress and that is exactly what I’m going to show you in this lesson.

Now in the search box here I have typed in headphones. So this is how the search page looks.

Now if you take a look at the first item here apart from the description which is pretty ordinary and pretty standard you would see a couple of new things here. The first thing is, you’ll get to see a price range on products (in this case $3-$5). Now on Aliexpress we did see a price range in some cases but that meant that the product had different colors available or there are different qualities of the same product available. And based on the quality or the color the price actually changed.

But in this case that is not what is happening. If you are seeing a price range that essentially means that you would have to contact the supplier here. You would have to contact the manufacturer by clicking on the “Contact Supplier” button and you would have to tell him your exact requirements and based on your requirements. This guy is going to calculate his manufacturing price as his profit margins etc, and then he is going to give you an exact price.

That is the reason why these guys have listed a price range and not an exact price. You would see a price range on all listings. If at all you see a price. It’s going to be a price range. In some cases you would even see a very big price range for example a range of $3 to $50. That means that the manufacturer has room for a lot of different kinds of modifications for a particular product.

So a price range essentially means he is capable of catering to your exact needs. He can customize the items and then deliver them to you. By customizing, I mean different qualities in your product, different types of packaging, different kinds of shipping and different delivery times. So those are the things that actually dictate the price on Alibaba.com.

So how do you actually order an item and whether or not it is possible to order in low quantities because ordering thousand pieces at once and then keeping them at your warehouse or at your home and then expecting them to sell on eBay superfast isn’t really a good idea. So there must be a way here to be able to buy small number of items and I’m going to give you a trick for that.

But first let me explain what FOB price actually stands for. No FOB means Freight on Board which essentially means that the seller or the manufacturer in this case, is actually going to take responsibility of manufacturing the item and shipping it to the nearest Harbor. The harbor that is nearest to your location. And that is when his responsibility ends after that you would have to take the responsibility of taking the product to your doorstep. But in reality when you contact a seller you can actually negotiate the pricing and shipping options and you can actually get the product delivered to your doorstep. You wouldn’t have to worry about picking up the product from your harbor and then taking it back to your doorstep. And I want to show you how to do that.

So let’s take for example. You want this particular headphone. Now please remember I have just typed in headphone here. But just like Aliexpress, you can type in anything you want here, you could type in like different brand names of different watches, different jewelry, headphones, cell phone accessories anything you want. So let’s say you want this particular headphone item, how should you go ahead and purchase it and what is the price going to be.

So what do you have to do is you have to click on this button “contact Supplier” and when you do that, you will see the below page.

 Now here you would be able to see the name of the manufacturer along with the name of the company that is manufacturing the goods and they have this privacy policy there too, you can read if you want and there is also the item that you are interested in, so that is also going to show here. You can compose a message and send it out to the seller and communicate with him directly. This is an e-mail system actually.

So what do you have to say to the seller when you want to purchase an item for eBay on Alibaba.com?

Now what I would do is I would first want to know the exact price that I would have to pay per unit for this particular item. And then I would have to know whether or not it is possible for the seller to ship out the item and send it directly to my doorstep without me having to go ahead and pick it up from my nearest harbor.

For that what you can tell them is “Hey, I am interested in this particular product of yours. I would like to know your best price for a single item and I would like to place a small test order just to know that the product gets delivered properly and the product meets my expectations.” And then at the end of the message, you can tell him your exact delivery address. Now when you do that the seller gets to see that. Well this guy is interested in my product and he also sees that you are asking for a small quantity as a starter. So that gives him hope that in the near future if you are satisfied with the product you are going to come back and then order in bulk quantities.

So if you tell him that you just need 10 units of a particular product, this guy is actually going to comply and he is going to send you down items. In some cases there will be people who would not want to communicate back to you and send you 10 items because they have a minimum order quantity and they won’t be able to manufacture just 10 items for you. So you would actually have to cross those out and then proceed to some center or some manufacturer who can give you a small number of items.

So in most of the cases actually these guys are ready to ship out small quantities, if you tell them that it is just a test order and you promise them that if you like the item you would actually come back and order more quantities. So that is the way to do it.

Now if you send out the email to them, then they are going to reply back to you and also going to ask for your e-mail address and send you an excel sheet that contains the images of all the different items that their company manufactures and also the prices for each of those items. So just by sending out a single message you can get to know all the different items that they are capable of manufacturing.

So that is a huge advantage, you would not have to keep sending out different e-mails and do this repetitive task. You can just send out the message once and they are going to send you the list of all the items that he manufactures and also their prices.

There is another advantage of using this contact supplier feature on Alibaba. When you send out an e-mail to someone on Alibaba, Alibaba is going to ask your permission for your contact details and when you give them that permission. Other sellers in the same category are going to contact you and they are going to offer their products and prizes to you. So you actually get the chance of comparing similar products from a couple of different sellers and manufacturers. And then based on the quality, the shipping delivery times, the total price and also the minimum order quantity etc. you can actually make a buying decision. So that is the biggest advantage of Alibaba.

The only down side of Alibaba is you have to take some time out to communicate with the different sellers.

And after you have communicated with a couple of different sellers and then decided inside your mind that well this is the guy, I want to order my stuff from. You have to give him some time to manufacture the product for you and then send it back to you. Sometimes these guys are going to ask you for maybe 10 or 15 days and that are the time that they are going to take for manufacturing the products that you ordered. So they are going to take their time and then they are going to send it back to you and then you can take out the products. You can list them on eBay you can sell them, make some money and then come back and order some more. So that is how it works.

Personally for me I use both Aliexpress and Alibaba and sometimes even Taubau.com. But if you have the time please do check out Alibab.com, because you would be surprised to see the kind of prices that these guys offer. If you promise them that you are going to come back and order in bulk quantities. And that simply means you would have even better profit margins.

Deciding the Price Structure of the Products while buying the items from Chinese Websites

By this lesson, you should already have a fair idea about how the sales process works on eBay and how you can buy stuff from Aliexpress and Alibaba for cheap. And then also how you should negotiate with different manufacturers, as far as product and shipping price is concerned.

Now in this lesson, I am going to discuss the topic of pricing your products on eBay. Let me first tell you that even though at the end of the day your total profits are going to be completely dependent on your product prices when you are just starting out. You actually have to keep a couple of other things in mind and not let price alone be the dominating factor. Let me go to here and show you something.

OK so we are now on eBay. Now here you can see I have put in these search word- pendant in the search box and this is how the search results page looks like.

If you notice there the first guy who is ranking in the search listings isn’t a top rated seller because had that been the case you would have been able to see a top rate of seller badge, right next to the listing which is not visible here. So he is not a top rated seller but he is ranking in the number one position and he has managed to make a lot of sales by ranking at the first position.

Look at the number of sales, he has made and I’m sure if you check out this particular listing you would see that this guy has sold a few items in the last 24 hours also. So the bottom line is this guy is actually doing good business.

Now if you have the idea that only a top rated seller can rank at the top you are bit wrong there. I would also like to draw your attention to the fact that by default eBay uses the best match filter while displaying search results. This is to ensure that customers only get to see what they are looking for in the search results and not unrelated items.

But then, best match does not always mean the lowest priced items are going to be listed first. However apart from the best match option eBay also has another filter called Lowest Price + Shipping and this my friends is the filter that most people who are looking to buy something on eBay use it at least once to make sure that they pay the lowest price for a particular item. And this is the one filter that is going to help you rank your products when you are just starting out.

In the beginning you won’t have a lot of sales and a lot of feedback to compete with the bigger guys out there but you can definitely use the lowest price match filter, to your advantage. I have seen many eBay sellers complain that they cannot see their product in search listings at all. Not on any page. Even after they have used all the necessary keywords in the headings in the product description and also included a few product images.

Let me be frank with you here. Ebay has a bug. Their system is not 100 percent foolproof. Their system needs some time to index new listings and rank them in search results. Sometimes it takes a couple of days before listings start appearing in search results. So chances of you ranking in the search results are not guaranteed. Even if you use the proper keywords and product Images, but what you can do is you can find out the lowest price that a particular product is going for on eBay and then offer your product for an even lower price.

For example if something is going for, let’s say $1, you could actually offer the same item for just 99 cents. Now that is not going to make a lot of difference. As far as your bottom line is concerned but it’s definitely going to help you rank in the search results simply because you are offering the lowest price and that should include the item cost along with the shipping costs. So the winning formula here is get as many positive ratings as possible from your friends and relatives first and once you have ratings and some sales, and then list your product for a price that is a bit lower than the existing lowest price.

Now this is not going to get you a lot of sales, but this is going to help you rank. And once you start ranking you can start getting sales. The feedback that you already have, the sales that you already have from your friends and relatives and also the lowest price all combined together are going to help you rank in your search listings.

Now I’m not saying that this is going to guarantee your visibility on the first page but you are going to be visible in the search listings and that is what matters most. The search algorithm that eBay uses, is not as perfect as Google or other popular search engines. So if you can’t manage to appear in the source listings no matter on what page people are going to find you out and they are going to buy from you.

Now once that starts happening, you would be seeing consistent sales, every week. So you need to be a bit patient here. You need to keep in mind that your search rankings are going to change for the better as you gain more feedback and sales. So you have to keep checking your rankings also every once in a while. The moment you start ranking on the first page of eBay for a particular search query you can increase your price by a few notches so your price matches very closely with the guy, ranking just above you, in the search results page.

By doing that, you are actually telling your prospective customers, that your product and services are as good as the guy ranking just above you in the search results page. But your customers would have the lower price advantage by ordering stuff from you. That is what most successful sellers do on eBay.

Now if you have some money to spend on your business you can actually take a faster route here. What you can do is you can list price that is insanely cheap. When I mean insanely cheap prices, I mean you would have to be able to absorb the losses here. For example if you list a cell phone on eBay for just $10 dollars that people would be crazy about it and they are going to buy it like hotcakes. But then you would have to have that kind of money to be able to absorb the losses because you won’t be able to buy a cell phone for $10. So, that again, is for only those people who have the money to invest in eBay rankings.

So that’s it folks, use the lowest price filter to your advantage. And once you start ranking well and start making some healthy sales, you can increase your prices a bit. So you make some extra profits without having to worry about losing your customers. That’s it for now.

Listing Tricks for all the Beginners and Pro ones for eBay Dropshipping Business

After you have purchased your products from outsourcers and also checked for brake hitches defects etc., you have to list your products on eBay and start selling them. Now in this lesson, I am going to discuss product listing and some trick on eBay.

Now as mentioned in one of my earlier lessons, there are actually two different ways of listing a product on eBay. You can either go through the process of entering all the product information into your seller account using the list new product tap or you could just search the item that he wished to sell on eBay and list your product by clicking on the have one to sell a link available under individual product listings.

 This is actually the easier way of doing it. And this process is going to give you all the ideas you need for your product headlines, descriptions and images. Here’s how to do it.

Let’s say for instance you want to sell an iPhone6 cover. What you have to do is, you have to first search such items on eBay using that eBay search box and on the search results page you have to click open the item that has maximum number of sales or probably the one that is ranking on top of the page.

Now there is a reason why that seller is ranking on top of the page or has maximum sales. Sales volume and feedback is definitely contributing to his top position in the search results. But it has also got something to do with the keywords that he has included in the product headings and product description. Remember eBay also have a search engine and search engines always look for keywords and they use those keywords to match customer queries. So you have to put in keywords in your product description and product headings.

All you have to do is click open the listing and once you do that you will be able to see a link called “have one to sell” on the right side of the screen. In some cases the link would say sell it yourself. It’s very easy to locate the link. It’s usually in blue color and you can see it right beneath the product limits on individual product listings.

You have to just click on that link and eBay is going to fill out all the required product description boxes by copying the exact information from the vendor. Now I’m not suggesting that you use the exact same product heading and description that you see on any other vendor listings; but you can definitely use that for reference.

Simply make very tiny changes here and there in the product header and description area, keeping the search phrases and key phrases or keywords intact and your job is done. You won’t have to take up long product descriptions and product headings and do not need to do any kind of keyword research.

You can piggyback on the research that the top vendor has already done. When customers are looking for their product on eBay, the eBay search spider is going to pull up your product listing along with the guy you copied the information from, because both of you have the same set of keywords and your descriptions are pretty much the same.

Now by listing your products in this way you won’t have to do any kind of keyword research that is necessary for understanding what keyword phrases customers are using to find such products on eBay. That could be a huge timesaver. So it’s easy right?!

After filling out the product information, you would have to enter your payment information and in some cases you might even have to sign up for country specific eBay payment systems. Don’t worry it’s free to sign up. And the links for sign up are available right beside the payment settings boxes on the product listing option.

Now after payment boxes you would have to fill out the shipping information and they are also going to ask you for a payment policy and a shipping policy. Now this might sound a bit confusing because how could you possibly have your own payment and shipping policy, when you are actually selling something on the eBay platform and have to play by their roots.

Well, there is nothing to be confused about because in the policy boxes you can’t just mention a few lines about your own payment policy and shipping policy. Now it does not have to be very complicated. These things are not usually visible to customers and they are only for internal users. They don’t affect rankings in any way. But you do have to fill out those boxes. You could simply mention that you would ship the products immediately after receiving payments; that you are an honest seller; and you care about positive feedback; and the product would be shipped out through reputable courier companies only so customers would receive them in a timely way. That’s it.

You don’t need to put in anything fancy there just tell them that the moment you receive payments from them you are going to ship out the products and they are going to receive it in just a few days. After they received the products you expect them to come back to you and give you a positive feedback. That’s it.

Now after filling out the necessary details you would have the opportunity of adding product images. At the time of writing this “eBay Dropshipping Business Masterclass Course”, eBay actually allows 12 different photographs of products for free. It wasn’t like this always though. So what kind of photographs should you publish with your products and where should you get these from?

Well even though eBay allows inclusion of 12 different photographs, you don’t necessarily have to have all 12 pictures. It’s good if you can put up first pictures, but it’s good work just fine, if you can’t put up at least four to five different images.

Remember the basic idea here is to tell your customer what they are paying for. You do not want customers to come back to you and tell you that they did not receive what they expected. That is going to create a lot of confusion which could further lead to negative feedback which you don’t want. So you can get the product photographs by clicking the images yourself with a cell phone probably or any other camera that you have and eBay will give you the option of editing your photographs and also list them back to your product.

Now the important thing to remember here is your customers do not know about your product and the best way to showcase your products is through your photographs. So try to get photographs from different angles and try to give them an idea about and the quality of the product that they are going to receive. If you are not a shutter book or you don’t have a camera phone or something like that you can get the product images directly from Aliexpress or Alibaba, from where you are outsourcing your products. You would be able to see the product listings on Alibaba and Aliexpress, and there you would be able to see different images you can actually download those images and use them on eBay for your own product listings.

But there is a problem. Please remember you cannot afford to download the product images and upload them just like that without doing any kind of edits. Edits are important because you don’t want any software to just find out the same image from any other site and tell your customer that this image has actually been copied from somewhere else. You would have to believe me on this. Some customers actually do that, you know, especially those guys, who are using eBay on a cell phone.

There are different kinds of apps that tell you that this particular image has been copied from somewhere else and that is not going to give the customers a nice impression about you. So you don’t want that. So you have to make some edits and make the images appear unique. You can’t afford to make the customer believe that same images are available elsewhere on the Internet. So you have to make some changes. The biggest problem with downloading photographs is removing watermarks. Many of these images are going to have their own watermarks and you have to be able to remove them. But don’t worry about them, because there are hundreds of websites out there with easy interfaces that allow watermarked removal for free. If you are not conversant with photo editing software such as Photoshop, you can use the online image editors and you can remove the watermarks easily. And then make sure that each of your photographs is at least 500 pixels wide.

This is very important, if your photograph is less than 500 pixels wide, eBay is not going to accept them. So you would have to redo all of that again. So make sure that your photographs are at least 500 pixels wide.

Now adding images is the last part of the listening process. But I would like to mention something here that would help you list your products better and sell them better. There is an option of choosing listing duration on eBay. Let me tell you that if your product is low priced and if you are listing it for just three days you won’t have to pay any insertion fees.

This is not a rule though, but I have found this to be true especially in the low cost jewelry segment and also in the cell phone accessories niche. So in the beginning when you are just putting up listings for the sake of getting feedback from your friends and relatives, you can save a lot of money by listing your product for just three days and then you won’t have to pay eBay any commission, when you make the sale. Because your friends and relatives are going to buy it within three days in any case and then they are going to come back and give feedback to you.

So if you just list your product for three days you won’t have to pay insertion fees and the amount of commission that you would have to pay to pay after you have made the sale to your friends and relatives is also going to be low. Also when listing the products just for the sake of feedback please remember don’t overprice them keep the price as low as possible because the more the price of the product the higher the commission you would have to pay to eBay after the sale has been made.

So keep the price low. It’s best to keep your product low price when you are just listing them for feedback purposes from friends and relatives. So that’s it folks. The listing process on eBay is not really very difficult. You can do it very easily. And they are not going to charge you anything upfront for listing your products whatever money you have to pay to them is only going to get deducted from your account after the sale has been made.

So don’t worry about having to pay anything up front. That’s not the case.
